What ageligil.et is

ageligil.et gives restaurants, cafés, bakeries and other food businesses their own ordering page and an order screen for their team. The place you order from makes your food, sets the prices, takes the payment and is responsible for the order. ageligil.et carries the order between you; we don’t cook, deliver or handle money, and we are not a delivery marketplace.

Delivery

• Delivery by the restaurant: their own rider. If they set a fixed fee it is on your bill; if not, they confirm the fee with you.
• External delivery (for example BeU): you order the food here and book and pay the rider in the provider’s app. The provider sets the delivery fee, assigns the rider and tracks the delivery. We don’t know that fee, don’t show it, and never record it as the restaurant’s money. ageligil.et is not affiliated with BeU or any provider unless it says so.

If you order

• You don’t need an account. Your phone keeps a random ID in a cookie so you can find your orders again and so “loved it” counts one phone once. It is not linked to your name.
• The place sees what you ordered and what you typed: your name, phone number and address if you gave them. They need these to make and bring your order. We don’t sell them or show them to anyone else.
• Prices are the place’s. If you pay by transfer, you pay the place directly using the details they show — check them before you send money.
• If you pay by transfer you may attach a screenshot of the payment. Only that restaurant sees it.
• Use “Report this page” if a place is fake, closed, offensive, or took money without serving you. Three reports take a place out of search engines while we look; its own link keeps working until we decide.

If you run a place

• You sign in with Telegram. We get your Telegram name, username and photo — never your phone number or messages. New orders are sent to your Telegram by our bot.
• Your menu must be real: a place that exists, dishes you actually serve, prices you actually charge, photos you took or have the right to use.
• Customer details you receive are for that order only. Don’t use them for marketing without the customer’s permission, and don’t share them.
• Every change to an order, its payment or its delivery is kept in an audit log with who made it, so disputes can be checked.
• You decide whether search engines can find your page. You can edit or delete anything you made, any time. Deleting your place stops its link; past orders stay on record so customers keep their receipts.
• We may remove places that are fake, mislead customers, or break Ethiopian law.
• ageligil.et is free during the beta. If that ever changes, we’ll tell you first and nothing will be charged without your agreement.

What we never do

• No ads trackers, no selling data. We count things (menu views, orders) — not people.
• No marketplace in the middle: your customers order from the restaurant, and the restaurant keeps the relationship.

Leaving

Delete your account from “You & your places” in the studio. Your name and photo are removed, places you own are closed, and past orders stay without your name. Diners: clear this site’s data in your browser and your device ID is gone.
